Hoodlums rob Fonfuka District Hospital, whisk pastor away

The District Hospital of Fonfuka in Bum Subdivision has suffered an armed robbery, MMI has gathered.

Hoodlums reportedly invaded the medical facility September 8, 2022.

Reports say they ransacked the hospital’s pharmacy before stealing from some neighbors including a Pastor and others who were taken hostage.

“They stole from Pa Joe Jickakwo, the district pharmacy, Pastor Stanley and others,” a source told MMI

The security guard taking care of the hospital was reportedly in deep sleep coupled with heavy rains making it difficult for any intervention.

“This operation took place when the District Guard was deep asleep and the rivers had overflown, creating a barrier and stopping the armed forces from intervening” the source furthered.

The source also said “Pastor Stanley and some other people were taken away by the thieves after the robbery by the thieves”.
