Hundreds of youths march to celebrate Biya’s birthday in Buea

Over 200 youths in Buea Sub-Division, South West Region of Cameroon have mobilised and marched through the streets to celebrate the 90th of the country’s president, Paul Biya.

The march which began at 11:00 am at Bongo-square Buea ended at the Governor’s office with the delivery of a ‘special birthday message’ by Esua Kisito, president of the South West Youths League.

The youths were received by the South West Governor, Okalia Bilai who assured them that their message will be delivered to the Head of State before the end of today.

Paul Biya, who has been Cameroon’s President for the past 40 years is Africa’s oldest leader.

There have been multiple calls by the opposition for him to step down.
