Hysacam Workers in Nkolfoulou Strike, Demand Unpaid Salaries

Workers of the sanitation company, Hysacam have used trucks to block the entrance to their Nkolfoulou base in the Centre region.

The workers of the hygiene company say they have gone for more than three months without their salaries.

A statement from the Director-General of the company, admits that the workers are in their right to protest, but have equally assured that the situation is being sorted out.

He revealed that the accumulation of the unpaid salaries of the workers is because the Government owes Hysacam a lot of money.

The General Manager praised the workers of the company for the maturity they showed in their peaceful strike, telling them, “the level of maturity shown by you is what has made us stand out and be given the confidence we have enjoyed from high authorities.”
