Cavaye Yeguie Djibril - Speaker of the Cameroon national Assembly since 1992
Cavaye Yeguie Djibril who has been made Speaker of the National Assembly has promised to give a listening ear to all.
At the end of the plenary session on Monday March 27, 2023, Hon. Cavaye Yeguie Djibril assured that he will remain ‘objective in all circumstances’ as president of the lower house of parliament.
“During this new mandate given to me, I will spare no effort to always live up to the trust bestowed on my modest person. I will be the President of the National Assembly, who listens to everyone, without distinction,” he declared.
Cavaye has been National Assembly president for 31 years.
