ICT University Cameroon graduates 6th batch of students in style

The 6th batch of Students of the ICT University Cameroon are now ready for the job market.

A sumptuous graduation ceremony of the said University took place today in Yaounde.

The event which unfolded at the Yaounde Conference Centre was attended by high profile personalities from across Africa including former Nigerian president, Chief Dr Olesugun Obasanjo.

President Obasanjo during a speech delivered on the occasion urged the graduating students to take advantage of the numerous opportunities available as they begin transforming the knowledge acquired into practice.

For his part, The Minister of state, Minister of Higher education , Prof Jacques Fame Ndongo hailed the management of the ICT University for contributing to the growth of the education sector in Cameroon and beyond. He said government was appreciated of the efforts of the said University.

The graduation ceremony was also attended by the Ministers of Posts and Telecommunications, Minette Libom Li Likeng and her colleague of Secondary education, Prof Nalova Lyonga Pauline. Former Prime Minister, Philemon Yang took part at the grandiose event.

The ICT University was founded in 2010 by United States-based Cameroonian Professor , Victor Mbarika. The University with campuses in Cameroon, Nigeria and Uganda has since been a reference in Africa and beyond.
