A train crash in India’s eastern Odisha state has left at least 261 people dead with over 1000 injured.
“One passenger train derailed onto the adjacent track and was struck by an incoming train on Friday, also hitting a nearby stationary freight train,” reported BBC
A total of three trains were involved in the tragic incident.
So far, the corpses of at least eighty victims have been identified by their various families.
The incident is considered the deadliest in India over the past 20 years.
