Indomitable Lionesses arrive Morroco ahead of Women’s Africa Cup of Nations



The Indomitable Lionesses have successfully arrived Morroco ahead of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, to begin this Saturday.

The team arrived Casablanca, Morroco in the late hours of Wednesday June 29, 2022.


The Lionesses arrived Morroco directly from France after a 10-day Stay within which they were trashed 4-0 by the French team in a friendly game.

Prior to their departure, the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon thrashed French side AAS Sarcelles 9-2 in a final test match ahead of AWCON 2022


They are expected to play their first game on July 3 against the Copper queens of Zambia, at the King Mohamed V Stadium in Casablanca.

The 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations will run from Saturday 2nd July to Saturday 23rd July, 2022.
