Indomitable Lions of Cameroon defender who plays for Belgian club Gent, Michael Ngadeu-Ngadjui has joined the call for the release of 18-year-old student jailed over Bacc exam leakage.
“It’s shameful and scandalous to put a child who is a reflection of our country’s future in prison. I deeply condemn this act,” he wrote on his social media platform, calling for the student’s immediate release.
Gervais Kevin was arrested weeks ago in the Bangante and is now at the Kondengui prison in Yaounde.
He is accused of forwarding leaked Baccalaureate exam questions to a WhatsApp group.
He is detained alongside the administrator of the said WhatsApp group, a student at the National Polytechnic in Douala.
