Jakiri CPDM member Found Dead After May 20th march-past

By M.K

One of the highlights of the May 20th in Jakiri, Bui division of the North West Region was the scanty match pass of members of the CPDM party.

They defied threats from separatist fighters in carrying out the activity.

Almost 8 days after, Mr. Lukong Francis, a former Literature teacher at the Government Bilingual High School, Jakiri has been found dead. The member of the CPDM ruling party who took part in the May 20 parade was found dead this morning.

He was one of the famous three who braved the odds of Separatists threats and staged a march-past in Jakiri.

His lifeless body was found at the Mantum road, in the town.

Accusing fingers have been pointed at Separatists for the act, with reports claiming that he had been abducted a day before by gunmen and tortured before being killed.
