Journalist Arrested in Douala!

Reports on several media organs say a Douala-based Journalist called Franck Eric Diffo has been arrested by the police in Douala.

His arrest is believed to have originated from an article he had written about Ferdinand Makota, a FECAFOOT agent suspended for immoral behavior.

The arrested Journalist, who is also the Director of Publications of the Sportvibes site, is believed to have been violently taken from his house by the forces of law and order today according to a Journalist from the Association of Sports Journalists, Marc Chouamo.

The arrest also comes after a complaint by Ferdinand Makota, which led the Douala Judicial Police to carry out the arrest. Further reports reveal that the Journalist will be transferred to Yaoundé.
