Journalist, Mua Patrick elected president of Under Rocks Club Yaounde

Multiple award-journalist and editor, Mua Patrick has been overwhelmingly voted president of the Under Rocks Club Yaounde.

The nascent association founded in 2019, rallies persons who grew up in the Under Rocks neighborhood, a vicinity in Wum, Menchum Division of the North West region.

Meanwhile Mua was voted during an enlarged meeting of the outfit which took place in Yaounde Saturday March 26.

He will pilot the affairs of the group for the next two years.

Mua will be assisted by Ntenga Martin who secured the post of Secretary General. Zun Linda for her part emerged Treasurer during last Saturday’s polls in Yaounde.

Mua Patrick, it should be said is a seasoned journalist with over 10 years of experience.

He is currently Desk Editor at Cameroon’s first ever English language daily newspaper, The Guardian Post.

In his acceptance speech, Mua Patrick promised to work for the interest of the association.

He has pledged that ” I will work to ensure this group grows by leaps and bounds. My leadership will bordered around discipline and hardwork”.

Mua was amongst the funding fathers of the group.

He helped created the association in 2019.

The association has since grown exponentially.

It currently counts more than 25 active members resident home and abroad.
