Journalists mobilise at Amplitude FM to pay tribute to Martinez Zogo

Several journalists in Yaounde have visited journalist Martinez Zogo’s work place, Amplitude FM, to pay respects to their murdered colleague.

Zogo was the Manager of the Amplitude FM, a radio house based in Yaounde. He was also host of a popular program, “Emboutiallages”, on the radio station.

Journalists consider his killing an attack on the press.

They suspect Martinez Zogo’s murdered is related to an embezzlement case he was pursuing, which involves pro-regime billionaire, Amougou Belinga, owner of Vision 4 television.

The journalist was found dead on Sunday morning, after he was abducted on his return from work last Tuesday.
