Konye DO Urges Ekiliwindi inhabitants to use witchcraft, chase separatists

Admist rising insecurity in the South West Region of Cameroon, Attah Moses Ndep, the Divisional Officer of Konye Sub Division has urged the population of Ekiliwindi to make use of their witchcraft powers to chase away separatists.

This, he said during a meeting at the Kumba I council chambers.

His words, “I told them to use their powers to send those boys away. They have their witch they can perform.”

According to the Divisional Officer, he had previously attempted talking to them through meetings which proved futile and thinks this will encourage them to take action.

” I have been calling meetings that they don’t attend, so I used this initiative to encourage them” He said.

It should be noted that the Divisional Officer, Attah Moses, recently survived a planned ambush by separatist fighters.
