Kribi: Falling Tree Kills Three

Inhabitants of the Mpangou neighborhood in Kribi are still in total disbelief after a tree killed three children on Monday January 10th, 2022 at night.

The tree which killed the children had allegedly been on fire for over three days.

The root of the tree which had already been weakened by the fire gave fell unexpectedly on the house when the children were asleep.

The parents of the children according to local reports had stepped out of the house while the children stayed behind.

None of the children survived, and the house was considerably damaged by the fallen tree.

Elements of the fire fighting unit descended to the scene — to help extract the body of the kids with the use of a chainsaw.
