Kribi: school summons students over leaked obscene footages, deviant behavior

Some students of Government Bilingual High School, GBHS Kribi in the South Region of Cameroon have been summoned by a disciplinary Committee.

The students were summoned after images and videos of them involved in obscence behavior went viral on social media.

In the said footage, the students could be seen practicing erotic dances, taking sexually suggestive postures, and appearing to smoke what school authorities describe as “illegal substances.”

Summoning the students for a disciplinary hearing on Friday, the school’s principal, Jean Maurice Noah is said to have also asked that their parents be present.

The recent scandal comes barely weeks after students of the same institution are reported to have confessed to taking possesion of a ‘magic purse’ for fast wealth.

After being apprehended by the forces of law and order, they reportedly confessed the conditions given to them.

The students were dismissed from the school pending administrative action against them.
