Kribi: Woman found death in her room, Love affair gone wrong suspected

A woman in her 30s has been found dead in her room in Kribi.

The women whose name MMI got as Florence was seen dead in her room in the Tala neighbourhood in the early hours of Friday 23 June 2023. 

Late Florence’s lifeless body was noticed by her neighbours who were checking on her as it is a routine amongst them.

To their surprise, they saw her lifeless with multiple wounds suggesting she was stabbed. 

“It s not really clear what happened to her because I found her body with numerous stabs on it. She was also slaughtered» her neighbour who noticed the unfortunate incident in the early hours of the morning said. 

Though the  cause of her death remains unknown, neighbours suspect she was killed by one of her lovers because according to them she had more than one.

“Maybe she was murdered by one of her lovers because she had more than one and lately had been having issues with of them.” she added.

At the moment of this report, none of the victim’s lovers has been  apprehended. Investigations have been opened by the police who were alerted by the quarter head who while talking to MMI said “the end of a love story is not the beginning of war”.

Florence’s family has been alerted and called to take their daughter’s corpse to the mortuary and eventual burial.
