The campaigns were launched across the various subdivisions in Kumba metropolis today August 29.

The DO’s in their individual launchings in the presence of education inspectors, Head Teachers and other academic stakeholders urged all and sundry to shun fear and resume classes.

The campaigns across the crisis-hit town is coming on the backdrop of two weeks lockdown announced by leaders of the ‘Ambazonia’ movement in the diaspora in collaboration with non-state armed groups popularly known as ‘Amba boys’ across the two regions.

The lockdown has caused mass exodus of the population of the two regions especially school going kids to French speaking regions of the country.
