Lady arrested for mercilessly torturing mother in Buea

A young lady whose name we obtained as Enjema Juliette has been arrested for torturing her mother in Muea, a
locality in Buea, South West Region of Cameroon.

She was arrested on Wednesday January 11, 2023 in the quarter 9 neighborhood.

According to information gathered, the young lady had been maltreating her mother for several years.

“Her mother told us that Enjema pushed her the other day till she
fell down brutally and sustained injuries. The scares are still there till date,” a local of the neighborhood told MMI.

According to our source, Enjema once threw her mother’s pot of food on the ground, before pouring hot oil on her.

In an exclusive video obtained by MMI, the mother in question narrated her ordeal in the hands of her daughter.

She said, “When she put to birth, the man abandoned her and I was the only one who took care of her and the baby,” adding that, “since 2017 I haven’t had peace because of Enjema.”

She added,” On January 1, Enjema asked me to give her some money and I told her I didn’t have any money to give her”.

“The next day she carried my pot of Mbanga soup and threw away, asking me to leave her father’s house,” the mother revealed.

When interrogated by the police, Enjema refuted all accusations against her.

” She told the police that everything her mother said was a lie,” our source added.

She was beaten up after giving a deaf ear to the population who requested that she apologizes to her mother.

The young lady is currently in detention at the Muea Police Station.
