The road linking the town of Made in the South West Region to Bamenda, capital city of the North West Region, has remain blocked for over 12 hours now.
The stretch was cut off in multiple portions after heavy rains yesterday caused landslides.
Amateur videos shot by stranded passengers show the road filled with collapsed soil in at least two different places.
This has left road users stranded since yesterday. Many will be forced to have to seek alternative roads through other regions until the soil and ricks are cleared.
A similar incident happened in Lewoh, Lebialem Division yesterday following heavy rains, leaving at least four people missing.
