Some four teachers have been arrested in Yaounde.
They were all leaders of the Collective of teachers unhappy with government’s latest recruitment of primary school teachers.
After several failed attempts to talk with authorities, they engaged into a hunger strike action at the premises of the ministry of basic education.
Government they say should publish additional lists with their names.
The arrested leaders have since been released.
