Three children all from the same parents; Junior Eyong 13 years old, Achille Ngwé 11 years old and Brillant Essombè 10 years old were kidnapped in Dizangue, in the Littoral Region by unknown individuals after their mother left them in their farm to go check on another farm land of hers.
Upon her return, Elise Bikek, the mother of the kidnapped children realised the absence of her children from the farm where she had left them.
With distress and fright, she reported about the missing children to the Gendarmerie Brigade in Dizangue.
Corroborating sources say that Elise Bikek had later revealed that two persons from Mbongo, not far away from Dizangue had phoned her, baring messages from the alleged kidnappers.
According to the messengers, the Kidnappers had ordered for a ransom of 30 Million FCFA to be paid for the children to be released.
The two messengers, meanwhile, have been tracked, arrested and kept in custody by the Dizangue Gendarmerie brigade together with the children’s mother.
Investigations have continued to try and locate the kidnappers and the children.
