Loum-Nkongsamba road accident leaves at least 25 persons injured

At least 25 passengers in a 30-seater bus are said to be nursing injuries after their vehicle was involved in an accident along the Loum-Nkongsamba road in the Littoral region. The accident is said to have
The injured passengers are said to have been rushed to health facilities by passersby.


One of the survivors of the accident narrated that, their ” vehicle left Bafoussam for Douala but when we arrived Loum, I don’t know what happened. I don’t know whether it was the trailer which was trying to overtake or our driver, I was sleeping” when the accident happened.


Another passenger said their bus hit a rock after missed being hit by an oncoming truck. The driver of the bus is said to have been apprehended as he tried to escape after the accident.

At least nine children were said to be in the bus.
