Mamfe: Two Ambazonian fighters k%illed, others wounded in Military raid

Two Ambazonian fighters have been killed and several others wounded by the Military forces in Mamfe, Manyu Division of the South West Region.

They were killed following a military raid by the Mambanda-based Sixth Rapid Intervention Battalion(BIR), a Guardian Post report has stated.

The raid occurred on the night of December 2 breaking December 3.

Reports say good number of weapons were discovered in the course of the raid.

The weapons comprised of; Grenades, Improvised Explosive Devices(IED), generators, bullet proofs and military attires.

The objective of the raid according to Danzabe, Commander of the Sixth BIR Region was to ensure a “… peaceful celebration of end-of-year festivities to the people of the region.”

He went ahead to urge the inhabitants of the locality to assist the military in their task through collaboration.
