Man arrested for murder of 87-year-old arrested in Nkongsamba

A 24-year-old said to be responsible for the murder of 87-year-old Joseph Kameni has been apprehended by the forces of law and order.

On July 1, 2022, the 24-year-old invaded Kameni’s home in Ebiuh-Mbeng, a neighbourhood in Nkongsamba, Littoral Region while the latter was asleep.

Hesitating to meet the demands of the invader, Kameni received a blow on his head leading to his death.

The murderer since then had been on the run till he was recently arrested in Nkongsamba by the forces of law and order.

The 24-year-old will be charged with the murder of the 87-year-old man and making away with the sum of 50,000 FCFA
