A 67-year-old man, Mahmudu Adamu, who was arrested in Nigeria for sexually assaulting three young girls, confessed deriving sexual satisfaction from fingering toddlers.

According to Sahara Reporters, the old man was arrested on Thursday, January 4, for defiling at least three underaged girls by sticking his fingers in their private parts in Adamawa State, Northeast Nigeria.

“Adamu who is currently in police custody, said he derives maximum sexual pleasure from inserting his fingers into the private parts of minors, ages between four and eleven,” the online news outlet reported.

Reports say the man had a track record of defiling young girls at his home before he was finally arrested on Thursday.

According the spokesperson for the state police command, SP Suleiman Nguorje, the accused was apprehended thanks to a report from the parents of one of his victims.

“The Commissioner of Police, Afolabi Babatola, has ordered for discrete investigation and prosecution of the suspect upon completion of the investigation,” noted the spokesperson.

Reacting to his arrest, some social media users opinined that the old man must be punished accordingly.

To Chidimma Nkwo, “…he should first be castrated. Honestly people are not getting enough punishment.
Imagine a child that is suppose to be his great-grandchild.”

Another social media user, identified as Hansen, said, “If they don’t give him life imprisonment then something is wrong.”
