Man killed, wife kidnapped in Far North

A man has been killed under the watchful eyes of his children in Tuboro, Golombali in the Far North region of the Country.

According to sources, the deceased’s wife, alongside two other girls in the neighborhood were been taken away by the perpetrators.

“They caught my mum and went with her. They came back to take my father but in an attempt to resist they killed him. They also took two girls from the neighborhood.” said a child to the deceased.

It is however reported that a similar case occurred in the municipality a month ago, where two teachers were kidnapped and huge sum of money demanded for their release.

In a bid to curb the ongoing insecurity in Golombali, the area’s Divisional Officer has urged the population to consistently collaborate with the forces of law and order.
