The justice system in Kenya has sentenced a man found guilty of stealing President Uhuru Kenyatta’s car.
The verdict was handed to him today, almost 8 years after he committed the act.
The car in question was a BMW 735 model, estimated to be worth USD10,200 at the time. The luxury car formed part of President Uhuru Kenyatta’s convoy on official occasions, according to Kenyan sources.
The action was deemed by the Kenyan justice system as treasonable, and handled as a threat to national security.
