Man shot in Kribi following public scuffle

A man in Kribi is currently recovering from a gunshot wound sustained following an altercation.

In a video making waves on social media, a man pulls out a pistol after a heated argument with a group of men.

“What is he pulling out the weapon for? he will kill us all. By pulling out his weapon he will kill us all” one of the men in the group is heard saying.

All attempts by those around to get them settle the dispute amicably proved futile.

The owner of the gun would eventually pull the trigger, injuring one of the men on the arm.

“Father leave it, it is okay … let us head straight to the hospital. Tie the arm above” the person taking the video tells his counterparts as the gunman leaves the scene.

While the exact reason for the exchange is still unknown, there are suggestions it might have been as a result of a land dispute.
