Man stabs Fashion Designer in Bertoua over Ramadan attire

Abdouraman Alidou, A Fashion Designer in the town of Bertoua, in the East Region, has lost his life after he was stabbed to death by a disgruntled customer because he had not delivered his Ramadan dress to him on time.

Abdouraman Alidou had been handed over some dresses by a tailor to sew. The dress belonged to a Muslim man who was supposed to use the garment on the day of the Ramadan Feast.

Once the owner of the fabric was aware of where his dress was, he aggressively visited Abdouraman, demanding his dress. A quarrel apparently broke out between the pair, and the customer removed a knife he had on him and stabbed the designer with on his chest, causing him to die on the spot.

The killer meanwhile tried to escape after his action, but was soon caught by elements of the Gendarmerie.

The deceased Abdouraman was immediately buried according to Muslim tradition. While the other Millions of Muslims around the world feasted, his family was rather in grief over a baseless misunderstanding.
