.

He was shot in the evening of Tuesday January 17, 2023.

Armed men are reported to have opened fire on him.

The victim popularly known as BOSCO, a dealer in cane drinks and other items was abducted from his shop situated at the Ghana Street entrance from Mobile Filling station and shot meters away from where he was taken.

BOSCO was later found dead in his pool of blood.

He was rushed to a health facility in Nkwen but it was already too late.

Many say it was a case of kidnapping for ransom that didn’t end well.

Security officers who arrived the scene after the incident blamed the population for not alerting them on time.

As the dust raised by the shooting to death of the business man in Bamenda was yet to settle, reports emerged from Behind Che in same city that a young man was killed in a similar manner.

He was killed while on a bike.

The reasons behind the shooting to death of the young man has not been revealed.

Preliminary findings indicate that he was accussed of being a “black leg” and supplying people’s names to the Cameroon military which has led to thr death of many civilians who were tagged separatists.

No group has claimed responsibility but many have pointed accusing fingers at Amba fighters.
