Claude Samuel Monthe, the fourth deputy mayor of Yaoundé 2, who celebrated the court wedding of renowned Cameroonian comedian Moustik le Karismatik, has called on him to reconcile with his wife.
In the past few days, rumours have circulated on social media, stating that the renowned comedian’s couple, who officially tied the knot in 2021, is now apart.
The comedian has, however, failed to make an official outing in light of the situation at hand. Rather, he left tongues wagging after commenting on the wedding post of another influencer, saying ” Même Prière (Same Prayer)”. He also recently put up a post saying “many people cannot understand the personal battles we fight,” but he failed to mention the online talks about his marriage.
In a Facebook post, The current fourth deputy mayor of Yaoundé 2, one of the seven municipalities in Cameroon, Claude Samuel Monthe, dwelled on the need for the couple to return together. In his post, the Mayor held that Moustik’s main problem is his celebrity life.
“For some time you have been the subject of several comments insinuating that you have problems. Let me tell you that your only problem is your fame because married life is full of ups and downs,” Claude Samuel wrote.
He went ahead to recall that many couples have been through worse situations m, but have always reconciled.
“So my dear couple friends, know that this is just an ordeal that you are going through and that in the end, you will emerge more united. Remember that what unites us is stronger than what divides us. I know it was for love that you got married,” the Mayor furthered.
Reacting to the Mayor’s outing, Moustik le Karismatik, published a post today, December 15, in which he wrote, “Mr Mayor, I hope to see you on Sunday! I don’t want any trouble with you”.
This is however not the first celebrity whose wedding is crumbling before the watchful eyes of the population. Of recent, Cameroonian actor, Blaise Option parted ways with his wife Melissa.
The couple celebrated their wedding barely two years back, in April 2021.
