A lady has been killed in a road accident in Mbouda, a town in Cameroon’s West region.
The incident happened at the Mbouda Central Market on Wednesday when a truck ran into the lady who had gone to buy provisions for her home.
The said truck after crushing the lady ran into other traders, leaving them with injuries. One was pulled out from under the truck by onlookers.
Enormous material damage was also recorded, as the driver fled the scene for fear of his life.
Wednesday’s incident in Mbouda has once more raised the discussion on urban disorder as well as reckless driving.
