Mbouda: Two kids found dead in neighbor’s house

Two children aged 5 and 7 years old have reportedly been discovered dead inside a neighbour’s house in Mbouda, in the West Region.

The children who go by the names of Fresh and Flora are pupils at the Government Primary School Bamelo. They were found dead on April 15, 2021 in a neighbor’s home under very unclear circumstances.

On that faithful day, the children were home with their grandmother who left them home on their own very early in the morning.

Departing from home, the kids’ grandmother left the eldest child, Flora who had just come to the village was left to care for her younger brother.

Later that day, their bodies were discovered in a neighbor’s house.

Shortly after being taken to the Babadjou medical center and were confirmed dead by the medical experts.

The corpses have been stored at the Mbouda District Hospital Mortuary meanwhile an investigation has been opened to establish the actual cause of the kids’ death.
