Tchapndah Njenji Richard is an internally displaced person, living Mendong, Yaounde-the nation’s capital.

He hails from Bawock village in the crisis hit North West region.

He is a secondary student whose talent in architecture is beginning to see the light of day. The ambitious youngster has been unleashing his talent unnoticed irrespective of his tight academic schedule.

The latest of his designs is ‘NJENJ HOTEL’ which he says took him 1 month three days to realize.

“I started the project on the 19 April but I was working in shifts because of my schedule at school. I used all the number of days at work to realise the project which summed up to 1 month 3 days”, Njenji said adding that “However this is the 5th project I have worked on”.

The 21-year old says his greatest desire is to secure a scholarship to study abroad and showcase his talent to the whole world.

“The main objective for doing this project was to get a scholarship to study architecture abroad and also to showcase my talent to the world likewise encouraging the youths of my beloved nation and the world to work hard to achieve their goals” Njenji sounded.

“My dream is to be an architectural designer just like Andrian Smith the designer of the tallest building on earth” he went further.

He however regrets the lack of means to push his talent through.

“All the tools I get to design this project, I buy them from cyber and must often i have to journey a over a long distance to buy some,” he furthered, saying that “This project cost me approximately 85,000frs”.
