Users of the Meta-owned apps on Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp are all reporting troubles.

Users were having problems with all three social media platforms around 3 pm ET/8 pm BST, according to reports. However, the disruption later spread to the rest of the world.

Instagram users report difficulty sending messages, while WhatsApp users report difficulty loading photographs.

According to Facebook users, the website simply displayed the logos and did not fully load.
