Microphone Cardi B Threw At Fan Sells For Nearly $100,000 (59,7 million FCFA), Money Used For Charity

eBay sold a microphone Cardi B threw at a Las Vegas audience member for roughly $100,000.

The rapper’s mic-throwing videos, posted by the star, went viral at the end of July.

After Cardi B, real name Belcalis Almanzar performed Bodak Yellow at Drai’s Beachclub in Las Vegas, Nevada, a woman appeared to splash a drink on her.

After a “thorough review” of the case, police abandoned their criminal investigation and declared no charges will be made.

eBay sold the mic. 120+ bids sold it.

“I was hoping it would hit $5,000 but again, I had no idea,” The Wave Inc. owner Scott Fisher told CBS News. I expected some national press, but the amount has been astonishing.”

He added that the money would be used for charity.
