A corpse has been removed at Mundi Junction along New Road in Nkwen.
The corpse is yet to be identified by residents of the neighborhood. The locals say they were not at peace with the corpse lying there since it was discovered on Tuesday morning.
Onlookers suspect the corpse is that of a separatist fighter. Charms that were seen around the waist of the corpse link it to charms used by amba fighters.
Obscure versions on the origin of the corpse have emerged from residents of the New Road area.
Eyewitness claims the dead man was pulled out of a game house at Banja Street and killed and dumped at Mundi Junction, another version claims it was a gun battle between separatists and the military which left one of the separatist fighters death
Another version says separatist fighters were on a failed kidnap attempt which got them returning with gun firing before they were taken unawares by the military, killing one of them.
