Some houses have reportedly been burnt down in Mankon, Bamenda Mezam division of the restive North West region.
According to reports, five houses were reduced to arshes Thursday September 8, 2022.
A local source told MMI “this is what the military did at mile 7 mankon after one of theirs was killed by those boys yesterday at 5pm”.
“They set about five houses on fire” the source added.
Some locals are reportedly homeless and may have no where to go as a result.
It should be recalled that solders have been indicted for similar action multiple times over the years but continues to go unpunished.
