Mimi Mefo Info IT scholarships for young Cameroonians

Mimi Mefo Info (MMI) will be granting a one-year scholarship to five (05) school-going children in Cameroon.

This scholarship targets children aged 6 to 18 years, and they will be randomly selected from five Regions of Cameroon.

MMI will offer each of the beneficiaries a laptop and will sponsor their enrollment into the International School of Programming, Algorithmics.

At Algorithmics, the beneficiaries will learn relevant IT skills like coding, programming, graphic design, game design, website building, Python Pro, and digital literacy.

MMI is aware that IT is the future of the world, and this scholarship aims to immerse Cameroonian children in technology at an early age.

The MMI scholarship will encourage the next generation of IT experts in Cameroon in partnership with Algorithmics.

Eligibility Criteria

Must be a young Cameroonian currently in full-time education.

Should be between the ages of 6 and 18.

Ready to commit to completing the programme and to allow their progress to be constantly evaluated by someone designated by MMI.

All applicants must be vulnerable children or those who cannot afford to enroll in studying IT. Applicants must demonstrate financial need.

To stand a chance of benefiting, applicants should write an application stating their name, location, and why they need the scholarship.

The deadline for all applications will be the 15th of October, 2023 at 23:59 Cameroon time. Applications received after this date, will not be considered.
