Missing 10-year-old Girl Found Dead in Kumba After 17 Days
The body of 10-year-old Maloba Magdalene, who went missing weeks back, was found at Nkamlikum Junction in Kumba, in an advanced state of decomposition.
Maloba Magdalene was a Class Five pupil of Government School Kumba Town Group 2, who had been missing for 17 days.
Her disappearance had sparked widespread concern. Her family launched an intense search with support from the local population.
However, hopes of finding her alive were shattered when her lifeless body was discovered, showing signs of foul play.
Local residents, parents, and teachers have expressed outrage, emphasising the urgent need for enhanced security measures to protect children in the area.
“We here are heartbroken. This could have been any of our children. We demand a thorough investigation and immediate action to ensure this never happens again,” said one parent, who requested anonymity.
The circumstances surrounding the young girl’s death are not clear yet.
It is hoped that the police will launch an investigation to uncover those behind her death.
