Further information has now been provided by security personnel concerning yesterday’s fatal accident along the Yaoundé-Douala highway that left more than 7 dead.
The accident happened in the Ngog Mapubi Subdivision of the Nyong and Kelle Division, Center Region.
A report from findings has revealed that the accident was as a result of a tyre puncture while the bus concerned was on top speed.
The accident caused the deaths of 7 passengers on the spot, and injured many others. The deceased were immediately taken to the Ngog Mapubi mortuary.
Injured victims are equally being treated at the Ngog Mapubi district hospital, with some cases being critical.
