Things have been tough in the past days and especially for Cameroonian students who are on fully funded scholarships in Rabat Morocco.
For several days now these students have camped outside of the Cameroonian Embassy in Rabat in protest. Most of the students have been thrown out of their accomodation facilities for non payment of rents for over 18 months.
The students organised a sit-in strike infront of the embassy building, but it is reported that their complaints have gone largely unattended to by the Cameroonian Ambassador to Morocco, Mohammadou Yousifou.
The students have criticised the Government for abandoning them to their own fate in a different country, saying that they have now been left to fend for themselves in an unknown country despite being brought into the country with full commitment by the State to fully fund for their scholarship programs.
