Municipal and Legislative elections in Cameroon: CRM party says it is out

The Cameroon Renaissance Movement Political Party says it will not be part of the upcoming municipal and legislative elections. The mayoral and parliamentary elections which were postponed at least twice over what government termed “unreadiness” are due to hold, February 2020.

The decision by the CRM to boycott the election is the outcome of a meeting of party leaders this Monday November, better known in French as Directoire. Bar. Ndong Christopher, SG of the party who confirmed the information to Mimi Mefo Info says an official statement will be made public in the coming hours.

The organ is like the central committee of the CPDM or NEC within the SDF.

Maurice Kamto is now heading to party’s head office in Yaounde to throw more light on the subject.

Some of his supporters were already brazing for the twin polls.

Details later!
