The Archbishop of the metropolitan diocese of Douala is optimistic about the coronavirus treatment. “All those who have taken our COVID-19 medicine have recovered” Archbishop Samuel Kleda stated in a press conference in Douala Wednesday April, 29th 2020.

The prelate says he does not master the number of people that been cured as of now. To him, Christians of the Catholic Church in his diocese with the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic went on a pilgrimage praying to God through Mary mother of Jesus Christ to open their eyes to see a cure to the pandemic.

With a voice of satisfaction, Archbishop Samuel Kleda says “God has heard and answered our prayers by giving us the cure to COVID-19”.

He declares that the team is mobilising for a massive production of the cure to assist as many Cameroonians as possible for free. “The coronavirus cure is totally for free for all those diagnosed of coronavirus” He adds.

For now, he says the medicine is in all Catholic hospitals in Douala. The prelate says the cure is of natural herbs. From a religious standpoint, he denies rumours that coronavirus is a punishment to humanity from God. To him, God thinks and does good for his children at all times.

Questioned if he has received experts from the Ministry of public health, the prelate says he is waiting to receive them at any time for a fruitful collaboration with a single aim of treating Cameroonians suffering from coronavirus .

Early this week, Cameroon’s Minister of public health- Dr. Manaouda Malachie mentioned that he had sent experts to work with Samuel Kleda.
