Shock over death of a woman in Ndu. Ngwafku Adama is the name of the woman whose body was found lying on the road in Ndu, Donga-Mantung of the restive North West Region. Divergent views accompanied the widespread pictures of her body. Mimi Mefo Info is still investigating reports that she was killed by a stray bullet. Adama was reportedly heading to the farm when she was shot. Pictures have also emerged showing soldiers beside her body, apparently on an assessment mission. How Adama died and who is responsible remain unknown.

The ceremony to award attributes to members of Parliament at the National Assembly of Cameroon has been postponed. The ceremony initially billed for March 13th 2020, has been pushed to Monday, March 16th 2020, following a communiqué released by the SG of the National Assembly. Abdoulaye Daouda in his release did not state reasons for the last-minute postponement, but observers see the hand of outgoing House Speaker Hon Cavayé Yeguié Djibril.

The US has imposed sanctions on two senior Zimbabwean politicians over human rights abuses. The US treasury department accuses Security Minister Owen Ncube of ordering the abduction and mistreatment of opposition supporters. The former commander of an elite army unit, Anselem Sanyatwe, is accused of ordering troops to shoot protesters including an incident in 2018 when six supporters of the opposition MDC were shot dead.
