Bike riders in Ndop, Ngoketunjia Division of the North West region today engaged in a series of activities in their area. Under a group called Voluntary Assistance for Ngoketunjia, VAN, the riders spent the day filling pot holes along some major streets in Ndop.The action comes at a time when several places in the North West and South West regions have been abandoned for months now as a result of the Anglophone Crisis.The fighting that has left several persons dead officials in some council areas say has greatly contributed to a low project execution rate in their various municipalities.Rider filling potholesAs a result of the conflict, economic activities in the Anglophone regions have also witnessed a sharp decline, especially with constant ghost town days and lockdowns imposed by Ambazonian fighters.
