Giant commercial center to go operational in Nanga Eboko

By Washira Helene

The population of the Nanga Eboko council area in the Centre Region of Cameroon will soon receive a new commercial center. The center which is financed by the Special Council Support Fund for Mutual Assistance  (FEICOM), is located in the heart of the Council area and will provide much-needed space for businesses and traders.

The commercial center consists of a two-story building with a surface area of 1,500 square meters. The ground floor will be dedicated to shops, while the first floor will be used for offices. The complex also includes a parking lot with space for 50 cars.

The construction of the center was completed in 2022 and the commissioning is scheduled for July 2023. The project cost an estimated 500 million CFA francs, financed by FEICOM.

The commissioning of the commercial center is a major boost for the Nanga Eboko Council. The center will help to stimulate the local economy. It will also create jobs and provide a more attractive environment for businesses to invest in the council area.

“The commissioning of this commercial complex is a major boost for the commune of Nanga Eboko,” said the mayor of the commune, Romain Roland Eto Eboko “The complex will provide much-needed space for businesses and traders, which will help to stimulate the local economy. It will also create jobs and provide a more attractive environment for businesses to invest in the commune.”

The commercial center is just one of the many infrastructure projects that have been undertaken in Nanga Eboko in recent years. The council has also seen the construction of a new road network, a new market, and a new health center.

These investments are helping to make Nanga Eboko a more attractive place to live, work, and visit. The commissioning of the commercial center is a further sign of the council’s progress.
