CONGELCAM has denied accusations that it trades in rotten fish. It was reacting to news of the seizure of 5,000 KGs of fish by officials in Obala in the Centre region. Many however maintain that some of the enterprise’s products appear not to be of regular standards.

Cameroon’s Head of State ,President Paul Biya has congratulated the Indomitable lions on their qualification for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. He wrote on social media that the victory was representative of Cameroon’s impeccable mentality.

A woman has died in Nkongsamba after she was crushed by a car right in her residence. The vehicle is reported to have lost control and broken her fence, initially leaving her with broken legs. She later succumbed to the injuries sustained.

The Confederation of African Football, CAF says it is deeply saddened by the sudden death of Zambian medical doctor and CAF Doping Officer, Dr Joseph Kabungo. The officer died following violence that erupted at the end of the Nigeria vs Ghana World Cup qualifier in Abuja Tuesday. Many have since called for Nigeria to be sanctioned, especially given the unruly acts of its fans.
