Nigeria: Man found dead day after announcing trip to UK on Facebook

Okpani Ugochukwu had announced his trip to the United Kingdom on Facebook the previous day before the sad discovery.

He was found dead in his room few hours before his trip to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland where he was to begin his Master’s academic programme.

“The day before the sad discovery he wasn’t sick, he had no worries, he was well. How come he just died in his sleep?” questionned a source who spoke to local media.

“It’s a wrap. Blessed be God Forever. 22:00Hrs 2go. In Omnia Paratus. Put my name on that wall. MSc mode fully activated. ?️✈️✈️?️. #International_Relations,” Ugochukwu had posted on his Facebook page.

“Ugochukwu reportedly died in his sleep Saturday morning, as friends posted painful messages of his demise on the Facebook wall they had earlier congratulated him,” reports renowned Nigerian news platform Vanguard.

His corpse has been deposited at the mortuary pending burial.
