The Nkambe District hospital which is located in Ndonga Mantung, North West Region of Cameroon has been upgraded to a Regional Hospital.
The information is contained in a release signed on February 20, 2023, by the Minister of Public Health, Manaouda Malachie.
The Nkambe hospital, situated in one of Cameroon’s conflict-hit English-speaking regions has come under series of attack since the start of what is now known as Anglophone Crisis.
Many are wondering what advantages will arise from the ‘name change’ — in terms of health care services offered to patients.
